Týr, the acclaimed folk metal band from the Faroe Islands, has officially announced a North American headlining tour set for February and March 2025. The tour, which supports their latest album Battle Ballads—released in April via Metal Blade Records—will see the band touring across the continent, delivering their unique blend of melodic metal to fans far and wide.
Joining Týr on the road will be fellow metal act Æther Realm, providing additional support throughout the tour. Tickets are now available for purchase.
Vocalist and guitarist Heri Joensen expressed his excitement about the upcoming tour, sharing, “If it were only up to us, we’d play for all of you everywhere, in a heartbeat. On our last North American run, we received many requests for cities that weren’t on our route, and we’re thrilled to return and visit many of those places this time around.”
Joensen also highlighted the return of their popular VIP upgrade experience, allowing fans the chance to meet the band and enjoy an exclusive acoustic performance. “Get your tickets early—it would be a shame if we missed you,” he added.
With a setlist filled with tracks from Battle Ballads and fan favorites, this tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for Týr’s North American fans.
