HÅLLBAR, a promising new metal act hailing from Warsaw, Poland, has released a fresh single as a preview of their highly anticipated debut album. The band, formed in 2023, blends elements of black metal, melodic death metal, and deathcore with aggressive female screams, establishing their distinct sound in the Polish metal scene.
The band’s journey began in the fall of 2023 with the release of their debut single, “Nemesis,” accompanied by a lyric video. The track quickly gained traction among local metal fans, earning positive feedback across the Polish metal community. Following up on this success, HÅLLBAR dropped a second single, “Face to the Ground,” in December.
Looking ahead, the band has been busy recording their debut album throughout the summer of 2024 at Okrutnik Studio. The mixing and mastering process for the album has been entrusted to Filip “Heinrich” Hałucha of Heinrich House Studio, whose impressive credentials include work with renowned bands such as Behemoth, Azarath, and Corruption.
The album’s visual design has been handled by the talented duo Dariusz Barabaś of seeg design and Bartosz Rybitwa, known for their work on the Metal Mine Festival. With their debut album on the horizon, HÅLLBAR is poised to make a significant impact in the metal scene both in Poland and internationally.
