German thrash metal pioneers DESTRUCTION are set to return with their 16th studio album, Birth of Malice, scheduled for release on March 7, 2024, via Napalm Records. This announcement comes on the heels of their successful 40th-anniversary tour across South America and Europe.
The band’s founder, Schmier, once again delivers his signature dual vocal and bass attack, accompanied by the ferocious guitar work of Martin Furia and Damir Eskić, while Randy Black pushes the drums to new extremes. Known for their unrelenting thrash sound, DESTRUCTION’s latest offering follows the blistering pace of their 2022 album Diabolical, but with added variety and groove to their brutal riffs. The album features 12 tracks packed with direct, razor-sharp anthems designed to captivate a new generation of thrash fans.
To give fans a taste of what’s to come, DESTRUCTION has released the crushing new single “Destruction,” a thrash anthem that reflects on their storied legacy. With lyrics celebrating their outcast origins and indomitable metal spirit, the track delivers all the intensity the band is known for, further cementing their place in thrash history. Prepare for a sonic assault as the Teutonic titans are set to dominate once again.
