Country music star Lee Brice will take center stage at the 10th Annual Maui Songwriters Festival, set to take place at the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, from January 15-18, 2025. Known for his massive success both as a performer and songwriter, Brice’s career trajectory skyrocketed after co-writing Garth Brooks’ historic hit “More Than a Memory,” which made history as the first single in Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart to debut at No. 1.
Following this success, Brice achieved his own chart-topping milestones, notably with “Love Like Crazy,” a single from his debut album that set the record for the longest-charting song in Billboard’s Country chart history. The track also won both Single and Song of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Brice has since written songs for an impressive roster of country stars, including Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and Jason Aldean.
As the headliner of this year’s festival, Brice will perform alongside an exciting lineup of songwriters, including Chris DeStefano, Randall King, Brice Long, and Deric Ruttan. Tickets for the event are priced at $100, with special experiences available, including the “How I Wrote That Song VIP” Experience featuring a wine tasting on January 17 from 5-10 p.m. This exclusive event offers attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.
On January 18, the festival will also feature a special screening of the movie Unsung Hero, starring Grammy Award-winner Joel Smallbone of for King + Country, at 11:30 a.m. Ticket prices for the film are $35 for adults and $20 for children.
The festival’s grand finale, taking place from 6-10 p.m. on January 18, will see Lee Brice perform, with an auction benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui and The Maui Fund, which provides aid to those affected by the devastating Maui wildfires in August 2023.
