Lily Allen is setting her sights on a new album release in 2025, revealing that she’s “trying to manifest” the possibility of getting her next record out before the end of the year.
Allen shared her hopes for 2025, which include releasing a follow-up to her 2018 album No Shame. “Firstly, I’m going to go and get my head straight for a bit,” she said. “I’m doing a little bit of work on myself in this beginning period of the year, then I’m going to do some more writing, then I’m going to do my play [Hedda Gabler], hopefully, maybe get an album out by the end of the year. That would be nice, wouldn’t it?”
Allen made it clear that while she’s optimistic, it’s still a work in progress, adding, “It’s not real, I’m just trying to manifest it now.” She confidently declared, “Listen, I’ve got this. We’re bringing Lily Allen back in 2025.”
In addition to her album plans, Allen and Oliver announced that their Miss Me? podcast will make its live debut in London in 2025. The podcast, a Persephonica production for BBC Sounds, will host its first live edition at the Hackney Empire on March 6, 2025.
