Alessi Rose ushers in 2025 with the release of her latest single, “Start All Over,” a fresh and playful track that blends country-tinged guitar with a pop beat. The song, produced by Josh Scarbrow and written by Rose and Audrey Hobert, captures the excitement and frustration of an unspoken crush.
Opening with a mellow guitar riff, “Start All Over” quickly shifts into an upbeat pop rhythm as Rose sings about waiting for a love interest to make the first move. “Don’t act like you don’t know / There won’t be a first move unless you’re making it,” she sings, with a mix of playful flirtation and longing.
Rose explained the inspiration behind the track: “Start All Over” is about that awkward stage when you start liking someone, but neither party is bold enough to act on it. It’s cheeky, fun, and full of anticipation, but also a little soul-crushing as you find yourself wishing the other person would take the first step.
“Start All Over” follows Rose’s earlier releases, including “Pretty World,” “Imsochillandcool,” and “Oh My,” and serves as the final teaser for her upcoming EP, For Your Validation, set for release on January 17 via AWAL.
