Brett Eldredge is ringing in the new year with the release of his latest single, “Gorgeous,” a heartfelt track that marks the first taste of his upcoming second independent album. The song follows Eldredge’s 2023 holiday album Merry Christmas (Welcome to the Family), released in September.
In an Instagram post, Eldredge expressed his excitement for the track, sharing, “I am beyond proud and excited for this one! I hope this song is a reminder of the gorgeous person that you are, even on your worst days, you are more than enough, you’re Gorgeous 🙂 Let. that. sink. IN.”
Reflecting on his new musical direction, Eldredge opened up about the freedom he feels with his independent career. “I feel loved and accepted more than ever and I feel empowered to put out music in unconventional ways that many may not expect but I know you are gonna love,” he shared.
He also teased a diverse range of sounds on the upcoming album, promising a musical journey that will take listeners from beaches to mountains and city streets. “There will be multiple different styles and sounds,” he said. “This is going to be a lot of fun…here’s to the next chapter.”
Eldredge’s last album, Songs About You, was released in 2022 under Warner Music Nashville, marking his final project with the label before his transition to an independent route.
