Drake is letting go of the rap feuds and shifting his focus back to the music with a new freestyle that’s already causing a stir among fans. In a fresh verse produced by Conductor Williams, Drake seemingly addresses the rap battles of 2024, notably with Kendrick Lamar and others, while also expressing his desire to move on from the drama.
In the snippet, Drake raps, “Savage, you the only na checking on me when we in some st, brother,”* giving a heartfelt shoutout to 21 Savage. The verse continues, “Fk a rap beef I’m tryna get the party lit / Thousand nas rapping murder st and like ten nas that will really do it.” These bars reflect a shift in focus from the combative energy of last year’s feuds toward a more celebratory and focused mindset.
In addition to the freestyle, three more song snippets from Drake surfaced online before being quickly taken down due to copyright issues, sparking excitement among his OVO fanbase. While these tracks aren’t as confrontational, they have only increased anticipation for more of Drake’s forthcoming music.
