Dutch melodic death metal band Nephylim has released their highly anticipated single and music video, “Inner Paradigm,” the first track off their forthcoming album Circuition. The 6-minute song delves deep into the metaphorical exploration of inner duality, reflecting on the personal battle of self-awareness and the life-defining question: “What kind of person do I want to be?”
Drawing from life experiences and the complex interplay between conscious and subconscious thoughts, “Inner Paradigm” sets the tone for the band’s upcoming album, Circuition, which is scheduled for release on March 7.
The album was recorded at Sandlane Recording Facilities by Jos Driessen, with Yarne Heylen contributing at Project Zero Studio. Mixing duties were handled by Joost van den Broek (known for his work with Ayreon, Blind Guardian, and Epica), while the mastering was completed by Darius van Helfteren at Amsterdam Mastering (credits include Epica, Floor Jansen, and Blackbriar).
