Iconic 80s rock band Journey has canceled their highly anticipated UK and Ireland tour, leaving fans heartbroken and filled with questions. The 50th Anniversary Freedom Tour, which was set to begin in Cardiff on October 30, was expected to be a triumphant return for the band after a decade-long absence from the region. However, ticket-holders received an unexpected email this morning announcing the cancellation.
The band, known for their legendary hit “Don’t Stop Believin’,” had planned to perform in cities including Nottingham, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, and Newcastle, with the final show slated for London’s O2 Arena on November 17.
This tour was poised to mark Journey’s first visit to the UK and Ireland in ten years, and the sudden cancellation has left fans devastated, without an explanation from the band. Journey’s lineup includes founding members Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain, along with Jason Derlatka, Deen Castronovo, Todd Jensen, and Arnel Pineda.
