Canadian country music legend Jason McCoy is gearing up to bring the Great Canadian Road Trip 2.0 to The Machine Shop in Sault Ste. Marie on March 1. The unique concert will feature McCoy alongside acclaimed artists Chad Brownlee and Jason Blaine, delivering a dynamic triple-bill performance.
Breaking from the traditional concert format, all three performers will share the stage throughout the show, supported by a single backing band. “That’s probably the biggest surprise for audiences on this tour,” McCoy revealed. “It’s not like one artist opens, followed by another, and then a headliner — we’re all up there at the same time.”
The collaborative format allows the performers to seamlessly support each other. “When Jason [Blaine] plays a song, I’ll step back and play guitar for him. When I sing, he does the same for me, and Chad [Brownlee] too,” McCoy explained.
This setup eliminates the usual downtime between sets, replacing it with one shared intermission, ensuring an uninterrupted flow of music and energy throughout the evening.
Fans can expect an unforgettable experience as three of Canada’s finest country artists join forces to deliver an evening of hits, camaraderie, and musical excellence.
