Ye’s upcoming album, Bully, has generated even more excitement following the viral leak of an unreleased song snippet. On Saturday, January 5, a TikTok user shared a video of Ye performing an unheard track, igniting a wave of speculation and praise among fans.
The video shows the iconic rapper-producer standing at a piano in a studio, playing the opening of what appears to be a new song. The track begins with ethereal, high-pitched vocals that transition into a powerful, thunderous instrumental. Ye’s crooning chorus—“Highs and lows, but you do a lot I know”—left fans eager for more.
Social media quickly erupted with reactions to the snippet. Fan accounts dedicated to Ye speculated that the TikTok user, who reportedly heard more unreleased songs from the Bully album during the session, described the tracks as “perfect.” Enthusiasts online seemed to agree.
“We got a classic on our hands,” one fan account wrote on X. Another user added, “This sounds incredible WTF.”
This preview is the latest glimpse into Ye’s much-anticipated Bully. The buzz started nearly a week ago when a photo surfaced online showing Ye at a piano, seemingly in the same studio and outfit as in the leaked video. Fans have also been treated to earlier previews, including the track “PREACHER MAN,” shared during a listening event in China last September. Ye followed that with the unveiling of the album’s official artwork in October.
While Ye has yet to confirm a release date for Bully, the new snippet has fueled speculation that its release may be imminent. Adding to the intrigue, Ye posted an Instagram Story featuring a horse wearing Bully-branded merchandise in Kai Cenat’s streaming room, hinting at a possible promotional tie-in.
