The seventh edition of the Milady Metal Festival, a renowned celebration of women’s voices in metal, will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2024, at Arci Tom in Mantua, Italy. This year, the festival’s headliner is the Italian power metal band Frozen Crown, who will perform their latest album, War Hearts, released in October 2024 via Napalm Records, along with their fan-favorite hits.
Frozen Crown, known for their captivating performances and led by the talented Giada “Jade” Etro, returns to Milady after their appearance at the festival’s second edition, which marked one of their early live shows. Since then, the band has soared in popularity, sharing stages with legendary acts like Kamelot and Dragonforce and performing at major international festivals such as Prog Power USA and Sabaton Open Air.
Also featured at this year’s festival is the all-female Slovenian band Hellcats, who have been making waves since their formation in 2003. The group, fronted by sisters Sasha and Sonja Zagorch, will showcase tracks from their upcoming album, currently in production.
Volturian, fronted by Federica Lanna and Federico Mondelli, will also return to the stage following the release of their second album, Red Dragon, while Roman modern metal band Neurasty, featuring drummer David Folchitto (Fleshgod Apocalypse), will make their Milady debut, presenting their debut album Identity Collapse.
Additionally, Milan-based alternative metal band Break Me Down, led by the charismatic Veronica Driven, will perform material from their latest album, Soul Clashes. The evening will kick off with Wox, an all-female band with a diverse mix of metal influences, returning from a tour in the UK.
Tickets for the event are available for presale at €22 (+ d.p.) and €25 at the door. The event is reserved for Arci members, with a 2024/2025 card available for purchase on-site for €13.
