Whistler’s beloved rock band, Brother Twang, will bring their high-energy performance to the Pemho Pub on January 11, 2025, providing a much-needed dose of celebration to kick off the new year.
Since their 2008 performance at the Pemberton Music Festival alongside iconic acts like Tom Petty and the Tragically Hip, Brother Twang has established itself as a central figure in the local rock scene. After releasing their second album in 2011, they earned the distinction of being Whistler’s “quintessential rock band,” a title they continue to embrace with pride.
The band, made up of Todd Vague (drums), Jay Romany (vocals and guitar), George Skoupas (lead guitar and backup vocals), and Derek Stembridge (bass), will take the stage from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are available for $15 in advance online, with door tickets priced at $20.
