Rosé has reclaimed the top spot on the ARIA Chart with her global smash hit “APT.,” featuring Bruno Mars. The song, which is released under Warner, ascended from No. 8 to No. 1 on the latest chart published on January 3rd, marking its eighth non-consecutive week at the summit.
The BLACKPINK member’s collaboration with Bruno Mars has already made a significant mark internationally, spending nine weeks at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts, solidifying its status as one of the biggest hits of 2024.
Other notable tracks on the ARIA Chart include Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True” (Interscope/Universal), which climbed to No. 2, and Lady Gaga’s collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Die With A Smile” (Warner/Universal), which surged to No. 3. Billie Eilish’s “Birds Of A Feather” (Interscope/Universal) also saw a significant rise, jumping from No. 19 to No. 4, alongside Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” (Empire), which moved from No. 18 to No. 5.
Meanwhile, the holiday music trend has faded from the charts, with Christmas classics like Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” now making way for a more varied selection of hits.
In album news, Ed Sheeran’s greatest hits collection +–=÷× (Tour Collection) (Atlantic/Warner) ascended to No. 6 after a limited-edition vinyl release, while Cold Chisel’s “50 Years – The Best Of” (Cold Chisel/Universal) remains the only Australian album in the ARIA Top 50, though it dropped to No. 25.
