To mark the 10th anniversary of their breakout debut album, SremmLife, multi-platinum duo Rae Sremmurd has released a limited edition red vinyl version of the double-platinum LP. Available exclusively through UMe’s Urban Legends official store, the anniversary vinyl celebrates the enduring impact of the album, which originally dropped on January 6, 2015.
Upon its release, SremmLife quickly made waves, debuting in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 and spawning a series of massive hits. Iconic tracks like the seven-time platinum “No Type,” the five-time platinum “Come Get Her,” and the quadruple platinum “This Could Be Us” continue to resonate in hip-hop today. Additional hits such as “No Flex Zone” (3x platinum), “Throw Sum Mo” featuring Nicki Minaj & Young Thug, and gold-certified songs like “My X” and “Up Like Trump” cemented Rae Sremmurd’s place in the genre’s legacy.
Produced primarily by Mike WiLL Made-It and his EarDrummers team, SremmLife also features guest appearances from Big Sean on “YNO” and Jace of Two-9 on “Unlock The Swag.” The album’s eclectic sound and innovative production set the stage for the duo’s later projects, including SremmLife 2 (2016), SR3MM (2018), and Sremm 4 Life (2023).
