Seven Sisters is set to close the chapter on their epic sci-fi saga with the release of Shadow of a Fallen Star, Pt. 2, arriving on March 28, 2025, via Dissonance Productions. This highly anticipated follow-up to Shadow of a Fallen Star, Pt. 1 brings the band’s ambitious two-album narrative to a powerful conclusion, five years in the making.
The album, mastered by Terry Waker (Angel Witch, Wytch Hazel, Birth) at Tonalex, preserves the same lineup as the first installment, delivering a refined and expansive version of the twin-guitar-driven heavy metal that fans have come to expect. Pt. 2 ventures into new territory, incorporating elements of neoclassical, ambient, and progressive music to enhance its dynamic sound.
Frontman Kyle McNeill reflects on the creative journey, saying, “Recording an album always involves a leap into the unknown, where the songs are stripped back and then carefully reassembled. For the first time, we’ve had the same lineup for two consecutive releases, and this was our first ‘stay-in’ studio experience, which added a new dimension to the process.”
With Shadow of a Fallen Star, Pt. 2, Seven Sisters promise a bold musical evolution that continues the sci-fi concept and heavy metal craftsmanship they are known for.
