The Craig community is invited to shake off the winter chill with a special benefit concert for Advocates-Crisis Trauma Survivor Services (ACTSS) on Friday, January 10, from 7 to 11:30 p.m. at Yampa Valley Brewing Co. in Craig.
The concert, which aims to raise much-needed funds for ACTSS, will mark the nonprofit’s first year as a standalone organization. In 2024, ACTSS supported over 2,500 individuals, providing essential services for those affected by trauma and crisis. To help sustain their efforts, tickets for the event are available for $50 online at ACTSS.org. The ticket price includes appetizers, one free drink per guest, and access to door prizes, all while enjoying an evening of music, reflection, and community resilience.
Headlining the event will be Chuck Briseno, a Red Dirt country artist and songwriter from South Texas. Briseno, a veteran of the Afghanistan conflict, engineer, and touring musician, will perform as part of his appearance at the popular MusicFest in Steamboat. The evening promises to offer a unique blend of music and support for a worthy cause.
