Grammy-nominated rap music sensation Lil Baby is back with fresh visuals and an extended version of his chart-topping album WHAM. The latest release from the Atlanta superstar is the video for “By Myself,” which features Rod Wave and Rylo Rodriguez. Directed by Nyce, the cinematic clip sees the trio plotting to boost their profits as they hang out outside an apartment complex, reflecting on their grind and ambition.
“By Myself” is part of WHAM, Lil Baby’s third studio album, which dropped last Friday to massive success. The album debuted at No. 1 on Apple Music and topped charts in 50 countries. It also featured seven tracks in the top 10 of Apple Music’s Hip Hop chart and six in the top 10 across all genres. Standout single “Dum, Dumb and Dumber,” featuring Young Thug and Future, is currently No. 1 on Apple Music in the U.S. and globally.
To keep the momentum going, Lil Baby has released an extended version of WHAM, adding four new tracks: “99” featuring Future, “Idol,” “Running This Shit,” and “My Shawty.” The extended version is available exclusively online now and will hit digital retailers this Friday.
Fans of Lil Baby can catch him performing live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tonight, where he’ll showcase some of the new material from WHAM. His album release has already sparked a wave of excitement, marked by a stunning drone light show in Atlanta and a packed release party.
Lil Baby’s recent achievements also include a blockbuster performance at his fourth annual Lil Baby & Friends concert in Atlanta, where he took the stage in dramatic fashion, joined by a host of rap stars like 42 Dugg, 21 Savage, and Rod Wave.
