Polish progressive rock music trailblazers Riverside are making waves with the release of their latest single, “Friend Or Foe?” The track serves as a preview of their highly anticipated live album, Live ID., set to drop worldwide on January 24 via InsideOutMusic.
Live ID., recorded on June 1, 2024, at the COS Torwar in Warsaw, marks the culmination of Riverside’s ID.Entity album cycle. Spanning over 110 minutes and featuring 12 live renditions of fan-favorite tracks, the album promises to capture the band’s dynamic on-stage energy.
Vocalist and bassist Mariusz Duda shared his thoughts on the project, explaining, “Riverside always come across better in concerts than on studio albums. It’s during live performances that our songs reach their full potential. Some arrangements are even enhanced in the live setting, with nuances and quirks that reveal what Riverside’s music is all about.” He added that Live ID. isn’t just another live album, but a true representation of the band’s identity and musical essence.
With Live ID. set to showcase the band’s electrifying live presence, fans can look forward to an immersive experience that goes beyond the studio sound.
