Power metal music sensation ANGUS McSIX has returned with a bang, releasing their high-octane new single, “6666.” The track continues the legacy of the band’s chart-topping debut album, ANGUS McSIX and the Sword of Power, which soared to number 10 on the Official German Album Charts in 2023. Known for their larger-than-life sound and epic storytelling, the band takes it up a notch with this latest release, featuring unexpected twists and powerful performances.

“6666” opens with Prince Angus McSix (formerly portrayed by Thomas Winkler, ex-Gloryhammer), who is captured by the dark Seebulon (Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann of Orden Ogan) and his orc horde. Frozen and transported to an unknown dimension, Angus reaches out telepathically to his brother Adam, who embarks on a daring mission to rescue him using the power of the six Sixtus Stellar Superlords.

In a significant lineup change, Thomas Winkler has stepped back to focus on family, passing the sword to Sam Nyman (Manimal), who now takes on the role of Prince Adam McSix. Winkler shared, “It was a tough decision to go down this path, but we didn’t want this project to end. Sam brings his own style to the band, and I’m thrilled with his vocal performance.”

Seeb added, “You can’t replace a Thomas Winkler, which is why we didn’t search for the next ‘Angus.’ Sam needed his own character, so we introduced Prince Adam McSix.”

The new track, penned and produced by Seeb at Greenman Studios, continues the band’s signature blend of high-energy metal and captivating narratives. The accompanying music video, also directed by Seeb, promises more surprises in the band’s ongoing saga.

With a new lineup, ANGUS McSIX is gearing up for two major tours in 2025. In January and February, the band will serve as the main support for Orden Ogan’s “Tour of Fear,” joined by All For Metal. In October, a massive European tour with Wind Rose and Orden Ogan will follow.

The band’s highly anticipated new album is expected in early 2026, but for now, fans can enjoy “6666” and prepare for what’s to come.
