The Blue Ox Music Festival is set to return for its highly anticipated 2025 edition, promising an exciting weekend of American folk and country music. Held from June 26 to 28 at The Pines Music Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the event will feature over 28 talented artists.
Once again, the Twin Cities-based Americana band Pert Near Sandstone will act as the festival’s hosts, performing on two nights. The band, which played a key role in founding the festival in 2015, has curated the lineup every year since.
One of the festival’s major highlights is the debut of masked country star Orville Peck, who has been gaining widespread attention since the release of his debut album Pony in 2019. Joining him in the headliner spotlight are jam band Greensky Bluegrass and acclaimed country artist Margo Price.
Minnesota’s own Charlie Parr, a legendary figure in the Americana scene, is also set to perform, alongside other renowned acts including the Warren Haynes Band, Sam Bush Band, Amigo the Devil, Rising Appalachia, Peter Rowan with Sam Grisman Project, and Hurray for the Riff Raff.
Additional performers will include Big Richard, Chaparelle, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Mountain Grass Unit, The Last Revel, Willi Carlisle, Them Coulee Boys, Cole Chaney, Two Runner, Tall Tall Trees, The Wildmans, The Resonant Rogues, The Fretliners, Dig Deep, The Cody Sisters, Long Mama, Clare Doyle, and Molly Brandt, among others. These artists will perform across three different stages within the festival grounds.
Set in the picturesque 155-acre Pines Music Park, the festival offers a family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of activities, including music workshops, art installations, morning yoga sessions, and a nine-hole disc golf course. Kids 13 and under can attend for free with a paid adult ticket.
General admission passes, which include unreserved camping and parking, are available for $254 for the entire three-day event. The festival is limited to just 5,000 tickets, ensuring an intimate experience for attendees.
