The inaugural Lone Star Smokeout is set to make its mark on North Texas, with a star-studded country music lineup and Texas-style barbecue at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium from May 2-4, 2025. The event’s headliners include Jon Pardi, known for his chart-topping hits, Cody Jinks, the Texas native celebrated for his soulful outlaw sound, and Midland, the Grammy-nominated trio with their unique blend of classic country and modern sensibility.
The three-day festival brings together the best of Texas culture with top-tier live music, and is the brainchild of the creators of Chicago’s highly acclaimed Windy City Smokeout, named “Festival of the Year” by the Academy of Country Music in 2022. Ed Warm, the event’s co-founder, believes North Texas is the perfect location for the festival’s debut.
“After extensive research, it was clear that Dallas-Fort Worth’s deep connection to country music made it the ideal place for our festival’s expansion,” Warm shared in a statement. “The debut lineup for Lone Star Smokeout features both country music icons and some of the most exciting rising stars, including homegrown Texas talent—making it the perfect introduction to this new market.”
In addition to the headliners, the festival will showcase popular Texas bands like the Randy Rogers Band and Eli Young Band, alongside emerging talents such as Dylan Gossett, Wyatt Flores, and Grace Tyler. With a mix of beloved acts and fresh faces, Lone Star Smokeout promises to be a must-attend event for country music fans.
