BTS member Jimin has broken his own record on Spotify, amassing over 1.34 billion streams for his solo track Who, making it the most-streamed song by a K-pop solo artist on the platform. The milestone, revealed in Spotify’s latest data, surpasses Jimin’s previous record set by Like Crazy, which has accumulated 1.32 billion streams.
Who serves as the lead single from Jimin’s second solo EP, Muse, while Like Crazy was the title track of his debut solo mini-album, Face. This achievement makes Jimin the only K-pop soloist to have two songs with over 1.3 billion streams on Spotify.
In total, Jimin’s Spotify catalog boasts more than 6 billion streams, with 4.8 billion attributed solely to his solo work, excluding collaborations.
Adding to his accolades, Who recently ranked No. 39 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for the week dated January 18. The track has maintained a presence on the chart for an impressive 24 weeks, peaking at No. 12.
Jimin’s continued success as a solo artist highlights his global appeal and influence in the music industry, further solidifying his status as a K-pop trailblazer.
