Rising rock band Morganway is gearing up for a monumental start to 2025, with the release of their highly anticipated new album, Kill The Silence, on January 31, followed by their largest UK headline tour to date.
Hailing from Norfolk and Cambridge, the six-piece Americana rock ensemble was founded by twins Callum Morgan (lead vocals, bass) and Kieran Morgan (guitar, vocals). Joining them are SJ Mortimer (lead vocals), Matt Brocklehurst (keyboard, vocals), Nicole J Terry (fiddle, vocals), and Ed Bullinger (drums, vocals), creating a lineup praised for its rich harmonies and dynamic performances.
Since their 2023 album Back To Zero, Morganway has been on a remarkable journey. They’ve opened for acts such as Skunk Anansie, Belle & Sebastian, Elles Bailey, and Scarlet Rebels, performing across the UK and Europe. Their festival appearances at The Long Road, Belladrum, Towersey Folk Festival, and Cropredy have earned them accolades, with Entertainment Focus describing them as “one of the best bands the UK has to offer” and drawing comparisons to Fleetwood Mac.
Recorded live in just four days at Foel Studios in Wales, Kill The Silence captures the band’s raw energy and creative spirit. Fueled by what guitarist Kieran Morgan humorously calls “probably four bottles of whiskey and almost no sleep,” the album blends their Americana roots with a grittier rock sound. While maintaining their signature harmonies and melodic charm, the band embraces the spirit of Woodstock, reflecting both the struggles of independent musicians and the joy of celebrating life’s brighter moments through loud, electrifying music.
