Tim McGraw is set to make history as the first-ever artist to perform at the iconic Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa, on August 30. The venue, immortalized in the 1989 film Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner, will host McGraw for an all-day concert, marking a significant milestone for the beloved baseball field.
An avid baseball fan, McGraw’s performance at this legendary site is especially poignant, coinciding with the birthday of his late father, Tug McGraw, a former Major League Baseball star who passed away in 2004.
Though the Field of Dreams has been maintained since the film’s release, it has rarely hosted large-scale commercial events. This changed in 2021 when Major League Baseball held a game between the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees, followed by another event in 2022.
Ticket sales for the general public will begin on January 24, with general admission tickets priced at $99.99 through StubHub. However, fans can secure a $30 discount during an exclusive pre-sale starting January 20.
As the first artist to headline at this legendary venue, McGraw is set to create an unforgettable experience for fans in a place where dreams and baseball history collide.
