The Hillsborough County Fairgrounds is alive with energy as the Tampa Bay Rodeo’s Bull Bash and Country Music Festival kicked off Friday, drawing thousands of fans for a weekend of intense bull riding and live country music.
Cowboys from across the globe are competing for the ultimate title, each taking on the thrilling challenge of staying on the back of a bull for as long as possible. “These cowboys, they travel all over the country, chasing that dollar, chasing that next ride,” said host Andre McClain. “That’s what they do for a living.”
In addition to the action-packed rodeo, festival-goers can enjoy live country music, with Chris Janson headlining on Friday and Clay Walker taking the stage on Saturday at 9 p.m. The Bull Bash competition will begin at 8 p.m. each evening, offering a full dose of excitement for rodeo fans and music lovers alike.
