Southern hip-hop icon Big Boi, best known for his work with Outkast, delivered a high-energy medley of his hits during the halftime of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Divisional Round playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Formed in 1992 by Big Boi and Andre 3000, Outkast became one of the most influential rap duos in history, selling over 25 million records and releasing the best-selling rap album of all time, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, in 2003. That album, which has sold more than 13 million copies, helped cement their legacy in hip-hop.
During the Chiefs’ 13-6 lead at halftime, Big Boi performed a five-minute medley of his top tracks, energizing the crowd. While Outkast has been inactive since 2006, following the release of Idlewild, both members have pursued successful solo careers. The duo reunited briefly for a 20th-anniversary tour in 2014.
