Canadian country music star Steven Lee Olsen is gearing up to make his debut at Festival Place on Sunday, January 26. With supporting act Jojo Mason, the pair will bring the Country Night in Canada tour to fans in Strathcona County, promising an evening of music, emotion, and energy.
“The Country Night in Canada tour was put together to be all of my favorite things that I’m trying to bring to the fans, and I can confirm it does just that,” said Olsen. “We make them laugh, we make them cry, we make them so excited they want to run through the wall. It’s so much fun, and having Jojo Mason out there with me… he brings such a good vibe to the show.”
The 37-show tour marks Olsen’s first as a headlining act, but he’s no stranger to the country music scene. Olsen first hit the Canadian Country Billboard charts in 2009 with his debut single Now and recently released his latest hit, Never Not Care, featuring Mickey Guyton, in 2024.
Olsen expressed his excitement about returning to Canada, particularly the Edmonton area. “I’m a closeted Oilers fan… Don’t tell my Leafs that,” he joked.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
