KILLSWITCH ENGAGE has unveiled the official music video for their latest single, “I Believe,” ahead of the release of their highly anticipated ninth studio album, This Consequence, set for February 21, 2025. The track, which marks the band’s first new release in years, is a powerful reflection of hope and perseverance.
“I Believe” speaks to the enduring power of hope, with lead singer Jesse Leach sharing that the song is about finding light through hardship. “During difficult times perspective is everything. Knowing deep down that ‘this too shall pass’ has been a beacon of light for me,” says Leach. “I do believe there is meaning behind suffering. If we are able to push through difficult times and come out the other side, there is a renewed sense of purpose.”
This single is part of This Consequence, the band’s sixth album featuring Leach, who rejoined KILLSWITCH ENGAGE in 2012 after a brief departure. Fans can expect more raw emotion and powerful messages when the full album drops in February.
