German dark metal outfit Nachtblut has unveiled the official music video for their latest track, “Stirb langsam,” a single from their forthcoming album Todschick, set for release in February 2025 via Napalm Records.
Describing the song, the band highlights its unexpected intellectual depth, calling it “the most intellectual drinking song the world has ever heard.” The track offers poetic nods to literary giants Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, while maintaining Nachtblut’s signature blend of sharp commentary disguised behind a seemingly carefree exterior. “Stirb langsam” proves to be more than just a drinking anthem, concealing a profound message beneath its raucous surface.
