Alt-rock band Smile Empty Soul has released their new single, “Violence,” from their highly anticipated EP Swan Song, set for a digital release on February 28 and a vinyl/CD release on April 11 through TLG|ZOID, distributed by Virgin Music Group.

“Violence” delves into the theme of toxic relationships, both personal and societal. Lead vocalist Sean Danielsen explained, “The song is about the many toxic relationships that occur in our society. They seem to be everywhere, be it in the home, the streets, or even the relationship between the people and the government. It’s inescapable.”

The track offers a raw look at the pervasive nature of conflict and dysfunction in modern life.
