LCD Soundsystem is gearing up for a spring tour across North America, with a series of 10 performances spanning five major U.S. cities. The tour will launch on March 7 in Phoenix, Arizona, as part of the M3F Festival, before heading to San Diego, Austin, Dallas, New Orleans, and Atlanta for a series of headlining shows. Special guests Nation of Language and Gustaf will join the band on select dates.
Following their North American run, LCD Soundsystem will head overseas for a series of summer festival appearances, including the renowned Primavera Sound in Barcelona. The band has confirmed they are working on a new album, although they’ve clarified that it won’t be released before their appearance at Primavera Sound. This album will be their first since 2017 and only their second following their 2011 “retirement.” To give fans a taste of what’s to come, the band recently shared a new track, “X-Ray Eyes,” which was first premiered on NTS Radio before becoming available for streaming on their website.
