Lord Huron has released their latest single, “Who Laughs Last,” marking the musical debut of actress Kristen Stewart. The haunting indie track, which is their first release since 2023, features Stewart delivering spoken word lines at the beginning and appears in the music video, set in a dark, otherworldly landscape.
Frontman Ben Schneider shared how their collaboration came about, revealing that he and Stewart immediately connected over books, movies, and music. “She immediately got what I was going for and had great ideas to boot,” Schneider said, praising Stewart’s creativity and influence on the video concept. “It was the kind of collaboration you dream of.”
Stewart expressed her admiration for the band, saying, “I’ve always loved the band and immediately sparked to the manic drift of the song… there’s nothing like making new friends through projects like these.”
In addition to the new single, Lord Huron has announced more U.S. tour dates, along with performances in the UK.
