Pop Evil is gearing up for the release of their upcoming album, What Remains, set to drop on March 21 via MNRK. In anticipation of the album, the band has unveiled a striking video for their latest single, “Wishful Thinking.”
Vocalist Leigh Kakaty shared his thoughts on the track, stating, “’Wishful Thinking’ pushes us into a realm that’s deeper, darker, and more intense than ever before. We set out to push boundaries. Metal has always been part of our DNA, but we’ve never made it such a focal point before. A lot of writing on this record has been about listening to what my soul is saying and letting the songs find their own path, rather than chasing a sound that might fit in on the radio. You can really hear the mood and emotion of the album’s themes in the music.”
