Luke Combs has shared a heartfelt preview of his unreleased ballad, “Pushin’ Up Daisies,” in a recent live performance video posted on his social media. The North Carolina-born country star debuted the emotional song during a show in Brisbane, Australia, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its official release.
The clip has sparked a wave of praise from fans, with many calling Combs a “legend” and praising the “beautiful song.” Commenters expressed their excitement not only for the ballad but also for news of Combs’ next album, although he did not announce a release date as of January 27.
Combs’ most recent project, Fathers & Sons, released in 2024, offers a personal glimpse into his life as a father. The 12-track album reflects on his experiences since welcoming his first son, Tex Lawrence Combs, in June 2022, followed by the birth of his second son, Beau Lee Combs, in August 2023.
In addition to Fathers & Sons, Combs recently contributed “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” to the Twisters movie soundtrack and has been riding high on the success of his previous albums, Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old, which featured hits like “Doin’ This,” “The Kind of Love We Make,” and “Where the Wild Things Are.”
