In the brief clip, Shaboozey plays guitar while enjoying the candy, only for a pink Nerd to crawl up the neck of his guitar, transforming it into a vibrant, candy-encrusted instrument. The ad concludes with the tagline, “Unleash your senses. New Orleans 02.09.2025.”
Shaboozey reflected on his long-time love for Nerds candy, saying, “I remember Halloween, getting those little boxes and pouring the candy into my mouth. I love them so much.” He also expressed excitement about seeing the creative process come together for the ad, which blends his passion for country music with the playful spirit of Nerds.
Having already performed during high-profile events such as the Thanksgiving Day NFL halftime show and the “Beyoncé Bowl” halftime show, the Grammy-nominated artist is now ready for the ultimate big game spotlight. “To be in a Super Bowl commercial with a brand I grew up on, it’s going to be hard to beat that,” Shaboozey said.
When it comes to what he considers “nerdy,” Shaboozey reveals his love for music and video games, saying, “Anything that you can get really involved in and find yourself being super immersed in.”
