Poison the Well

Poison the Well, one of metalcore’s most influential bands, has signed with SharpTone Records and released Trembling Level, their first new song in 15 years. Known for their groundbreaking impact on the genre, Poison the Well’s 2000s albums were hailed by outlets like Brooklyn Vegan, Kerrang!, and Loudwire. Now, the band has returned with a powerful track that fuses the best elements of their expansive discography.

Trembling Level showcases the band at their peak, with intense riffs, deep grooves, and Jeff Moreira’s trademark guttural screams. Lyrically, the track confronts fear and personal growth, with Moreira reflecting on the journey through challenges as a path to success. Guitarist Ryan Primack noted that the song blends the band’s history into one cohesive sound. Alongside this release, the band welcomes new members, bassist Noah Harmon and guitarist Vadim Taver, as official members after years of contributing to the band’s live and recorded work. Fans can expect more new music from Poison the Well in the coming months.
