Art-rock band Black Country, New Road has unveiled plans for their new album, Forever Howlong, following the success of their 2022 sophomore release Ants From Up There and the live album Live At Bush Hall. The highly anticipated LP will be produced by James Ford, and the lead single, “Besties,” is available now.
The accompanying music video for “Besties,” directed by Rianne White, brings the song’s emotional depth to life. White described the concept as a reflection of the intense bond between best friends, with a narrative inspired by her childhood memories of writing letters and creating maps for her best friend. She highlighted the team’s creative collaboration, with standout performances from Georgia, May, and Tyler, and a raw, energetic atmosphere captured in muddy, wintery conditions.
“Besties” is a celebration of love, connection, and the yearning to be with those we hold most dear.
