Amillion Mayfield, a renowned hip-hop artist, poet, and entrepreneur, has been honored with the prestigious title of International Hip-Hop Artist of the Year at the 2024 RBE Awards in London. This accolade underscores his growing global influence in the music industry, recognizing his impactful artistry and commitment to positive social change.
In addition to this recognition, Mayfield is set to perform as the special guest on his upcoming sixth UK Tour, extending his reach across more than 30 countries. His dedication to music and community also extends to his role as CEO of 1NA Records, 1NA Radio Station, and 1NA Alkaline Water, the first Black-owned alkaline water brand to be featured in major grocery chains like ALDI.
Despite his expanding international profile, Mayfield remains grounded in his hometown of Dover, where he actively advocates for education and community empowerment. He has visited over 100 schools, colleges, and prisons, using his platform to inspire others to “own their dreams.” Additionally, he has established scholarships, workshops, and community events, including the 1NA Day of Giving Back, which was recognized by Dover Mayor Robin Christiansen. For his efforts, Mayfield was awarded the key to the city.
In reflecting on his achievements, Mayfield points to his role as a father as his greatest pride. His daughter, Aaliyah Adams-Mayfield, recently signed a letter of intent to join Baylor University’s national champion acrobatics and tumbling team.
Mayfield expressed gratitude for his latest accolade, saying, “Winning International Hip-Hop Artist of the Year is an honor and testament to having faith and a big state of mind, despite coming from a small state. Nine years ago, my friend Victory the Producer told me I could be the one from Delaware to make it everywhere musically. He was right, and I’ll continue to honor his legacy.”
For Mayfield, each success is an opportunity to inspire others. “Every stage I perform on and every milestone I achieve is another chance to encourage others to reach for their dreams. Everyone has something ‘One In A Million’ inside them. Once you find that, you define it.”
