Flogging Molly has been forced to cancel all of its 2025 tour dates as frontman Dave King faces a “very serious health condition.” The band made the announcement via social media, revealing that King’s health issues would prevent them from headlining their own Salty Dog Cruise, which was set to embark on February 17.
The group shared a heartfelt message, urging fans to respect King’s privacy during this challenging time. “Dave and Bridget ask everyone to respect their privacy,” the post read. “We will share updates as we can. Any good thoughts or prayers you can send Dave’s way, he and we would appreciate it.”
Although Flogging Molly will not be performing in 2025, the Salty Dog Cruise will proceed as planned with 18 other bands, and Flogging Molly members will still be present to celebrate the cruise and show support for their leader, Dave King.
