The devastating wildfires that ravaged the Los Angeles area in January left many communities and lives in turmoil, particularly within the West Coast country music scene. In response to this crisis, a series of benefit events have already taken place in California, with more planned across the nation. On February 19th, Nashville will host its own fundraising event, “LA Revival,” at the Bridgestone Arena, where Dwight Yoakam and the Turnpike Troubadours will headline a benefit concert supporting MusiCares Fire Relief.
Additional performers include Cam, Carter Faith, Shane Profitt, and Brit Taylor. The event, organized by Thirty Tigers and its sister label Tripe Tigers, will coincide with Nashville’s annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS), offering music lovers a chance to enjoy great performances while supporting a crucial cause.
MusiCares, founded by the Recording Academy in 1989, has long been dedicated to supporting the well-being of the music community. The organization provides direct assistance to musicians, engineers, and other professionals in the industry, making it an essential resource in times of need.
