Usher is offering fans a deeply personal journey into his life and career with his debut Audible Original, The Last Showman, available now. Written and produced by the eight-time Grammy winner alongside journalist Gerrick Kennedy, the project is a powerful reflection on the R&B legend’s evolution from teenager to adult and his enduring place in the music industry.

In the piece, Usher delves into the emotional complexities of his public image, recalling a time when he struggled with the question, “But who are you?” He describes feeling trapped by his fame and the transition to adulthood, offering a candid look into the internal battle many artists face.

The Audible Original also offers listeners a rare behind-the-scenes look at the making of Usher’s groundbreaking 2004 album Confessions, alongside live performances of his classic hits, including “Burn,” “Confessions Pt. II,” “Can U Handle It?” and “Bad Girl.”

Ahead of the album’s release, Usher shared with Billboard his excitement for the project and his upcoming European tour, which kicks off with a sold-out run at London’s The O2 on March 29.
