Coldplay has unveiled the music video for their latest track, “Man In The Moon,” and it doubles as a love letter to Singapore. The video, now available on YouTube, features breathtaking visuals of iconic Singaporean landmarks, including Jewel Changi Airport, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and a performance scene on a floating stage with the city’s skyline in the background.
The clip also highlights notable spots such as People’s Park Complex, Chinatown, Fort Canning Park, the S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa, Level Up Arcade, and MacPherson Neighbourhood Mountain Coffee in Geylang. Directed by Los Angeles-based filmmaker Ben Mor, who previously worked with the band on “Hymn for the Weekend” in 2015, the video is a visual feast that beautifully showcases the city.
“Man In The Moon” is featured on Moon Music (Full Moon Edition), the bonus edition of Coldplay’s 10th studio album, Moon Music (2024). Following their Music of the Spheres tour in Australia, Moon Music reached No. 1 on the ARIA Chart, marking its first time at the top after previously peaking at No. 2.
