Hard rock icons AC/DC are being celebrated by the UK’s Royal Mail with a special set of 12 postage stamps, marking the 50th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album High Voltage. The stamps, which will be available for purchase starting February 18, showcase the band’s legendary career.
Eight of the stamps feature stunning live shots of AC/DC performing over the years, from their 1976 London gig to their recent 2023 performance in India. Additionally, a miniature sheet of four stamps will feature the album covers of High Voltage (1975), Highway to Hell (1979), Back in Black (1980), and Power Up (2020).
While AC/DC’s roots trace back to Australia, this tribute from the UK highlights their global impact and lasting legacy in the world of rock music.
