Fresh off her Grammy Award win for Best Rap Album, Doechii continued her red-hot streak with a high-energy performance during Super Bowl weekend at the House of Verizon activation in New Orleans on Saturday (Feb. 8).
The rising rap star performed before a star-studded audience that included Shaquille O’Neal, Tinashe, Jon Hamm, Anthony Mackie, Quavo, and Shaboozey. With her signature commanding stage presence, Doechii frequently jumped off the platform, engaging directly with the packed crowd.
Introduced as a “Grammy Award-winning artist,” she kicked off her set with a fiery performance of “Persuasive”, leaping onto the stage and belting out its breakdown. She followed with “Denial is a River”, transitioned into “Catfish”, and closed with an intense, rapid-fire rendition of “Nissan Altima.”
As the venue reached maximum capacity, the atmosphere turned electric, with fans spilling into the streets after the show, mirroring the unrelenting energy Doechii brought to the stage.
