Virtual boy band Plave has made history with the release of its latest EP Caligo Pt.1, selling over 1 million copies in just the first week. The EP, released on February 3, sold 1,038,308 copies by Sunday, according to the Hanteo Chart, marking a groundbreaking achievement for the virtual idol group.

This makes Plave the first boy band of 2025 to reach the 1 million sales mark within its debut week, as well as the first-ever virtual idol group to achieve such a milestone.

The album’s success was propelled by its lead track “Dash,” which immediately claimed the top spot on the Melon Chart, followed by the other tracks “Rizz,” “Chroma Drift,” “12:32 (A to T),” and “Island.” The album also set new streaming records, reaching 1 million streams in just 2 hours and 20 minutes, and hitting 10 million streams within 24 hours, as reported by the band’s agency, Vlast.
