Iconic alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins will headline at TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall 2025 in Halifax, West Yorkshire, this summer. The band is set to perform on August 12 at the historic open-air venue, adding another star act to an already impressive lineup.
Formed in Chicago in 1988, The Smashing Pumpkins have sold over 30 million albums worldwide, collecting multiple accolades, including two Grammy Awards, seven MTV VMAs, and an American Music Award.
Nicky Chance-Tompson, CEO of The Piece Hall Charitable Trust, expressed excitement over the band’s upcoming show, highlighting their intense and energetic performances. “Their complex, emotive, and unique sound will make for a truly special show in this extraordinary location,” Chance-Tompson said. “It’s going to be emotional.”
The band joins other headliners like Deftones, Weezer, and Faithless at the venue this summer. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday and can be purchased online.
