GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd has unveiled details for his upcoming sophomore album, Midwest Rock & Roll, set to release on March 21 via Big Machine Records. The 12-track project, co-written by Hurd, serves as a heartfelt homage to his Midwestern upbringing while reflecting on the emotional journey of chasing dreams beyond his hometown.
“This album feels like playing in your first band,” Hurd shared. “It’s a coming-of-age story, and I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out, both sonically and lyrically.”
To accompany the announcement, Hurd has also released a new single, Die For It. Co-written with Mark Holman and Randy Montana, the song explores the emotional complexities of love, capturing the intense highs and lows of a relationship and the unwavering commitment it takes to weather both the good and the bad.
