K-pop boy band EVNNE is turning chaotic moments into opportunities for growth with their latest release, Hot Mess. Released on Monday, the seven-member group’s new EP offers a message of optimism, encouraging listeners to embrace even the messiest situations.
The six-track EP is anchored by its title track, a vibrant pop-rock anthem celebrating the thrill of living in the moment despite emotional turmoil. “If you’re curious about how much fun we can have in the middle of a messy situation, I suggest listening to our new tracks,” said group leader Keita.
The EP includes contributions from members Yoo Seungeon and Park Jihoo, who co-wrote the energetic title track, and Seungeon, who penned the lyrics for “Youth.” Ji Yunseo also brought his creativity to the track “Love Like That.” Fans will also find a Korean version of the group’s Japanese single, Keshiki, which was composed by Keita.
EVNNE, managed by Jellyfish Entertainment, debuted in September 2023 with their EP Target: Me and quickly rose to prominence. Their 2024 single “Badder Love” earned recognition on Billboard’s list of top K-pop songs of the year. With Hot Mess, the group is set to continue captivating listeners with their unique blend of energy, emotion, and resilience.
